Last week the Club Triples Championship sponsored by Pel Williams was decided and Alex Gryta, Ross Donald and Peter Jeanes demonstrated their skills with a win from Mark Lindsay, Joel Steinberg and Brian Wright. The Plate went to Willy Tan,
Its unfortunate but we now have the opportunity to wind up our 2010/11 Pennant Season as last hopes 4-Gold and 5-White went down in their mid-week semi finals on 31/3.
The 2010/11 Saturday Pennant competition is now history and although no divisional pennants came our way we can be quite pleased with the final results.
With the home and away pennant games completed last week we find that our Saturday teams have all done well and with the exception of 6 Lime have all made the playoffs.
We had good results both days last week with only two of our eleven teams failing to take aggregate points.
Mid-week 1-White lost by just 3 shots and will depend on the results of the last game to determine whether they make the play-offs.
The annual mixed classic each year attracts teams from around the state and Dalkeith were the main participants.
Last Sunday Andrew Foster and Jim Neulist played out the final of the Men’s Novice Singles Championship with Andrew successful. Congratulations.
