2010 SPRING FOURS REPORT TO MEMBERS

The adventurous move of the event into October for the first time was dramatically complicated by the necessity to replay the AFL grand final.

As result of the AFL grand Final replay starting at 12.30 pm on Saturday, the match committee have decided to commence play at 10 am instead of the advertised time of  1 pm.

Scotch College
Some two months ago the sportsmaster of Scotch College approached me about the possibility of him bringing a group of year 12 boys to our club to learn the basics of lawn bowls.

BEVERLEY DOWERIN EXCURSION 
Sixteen players boarded our hired bus on Tuesday morning at 5.45am and with vice president David Broadfoot at the wheel, arrived safely at Beverley for their annual Classic Fours event.
