For those of you not able to join in the Friday scroungers, which will still take place at the club each Friday, you are invited to join in a fun game of SCROUNGERS this Sunday 10th July, and the following Sundays, weather permitting. 

Many of you will have heard the term scroungers and not necessarily known what they are talking about. In short, the best way to describe the game is that it is “Handicap Bowls”. In other words, the better qualified and experienced bowlers receive a handicap that is obviously designed to have ALL players irrespective of their level of expertise compete on an equal footing. The rules are simple to follow and given that virtually 100% of the bowls played are draw bowls, then it is an opportunity for both men and women to play and practice at the same time as having some fun.

You do not need to ring in to nominate. Just turn up by 9.45am to commence at 10.00am and the game including finals will be finished by noon, and you can still be home in time for the roast. Cost of entry is $5.
