“Shot of the Century” wins game for Dalkeith pair

At a recent pairs event at the Osborne Park Bowling Club Dalkeith representative Noel Reynolds produced what could be described as the ‘Shot of the Century’ by drawing a resting toucher to win the game on the last end.

With Noel & his partner leading by 2 shots going into the last end, his opponents were holding 3 (seemingly) unbeatable shots - see attached diagram.  Noel produced his match winner by resting on the jack, moving it only a centimetre or so closer to the ditch, breaking the hearts of our opposition.

Please be advised that this is an eye witness account of the shot when Noel is conveying the story to you all over a drink!
